Global Finance & Business Management (“GF&BM”) India is a combined Line of Business-aligned (LOB-aligned) finance & business support team located in India. It is part of JPMorgan’s global capability centre (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, the majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm’s Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm’s capital.

GF&BM India was established in September. We currently have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main “pillars” of work – Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business clients & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.   • Roles & Responsibilities:

  • As part of the AWM MIS team, the Web Developer is expected to perform the following roles and responsibilities.
  • Analyzes, designs, develops, codes and implements programs in one or more programming languages, for Web/Intranet Applications.
  • Assesses the health and performance of software applications and databases.
  • Establishes, participates, and maintains relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts to remain apprised of direction, project status, architectural and technology trends, risks, and functional/integration issues.
  • Defines specifications and develop programs, modifies existing programs, prepares test data, and prepares functional specifications.
  • Identifies potential process improvement areas and suggests options and recommends approaches. Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to convert business requirements to wireframes/designs.
  • Work on the agile improvements by sharing experiences and knowledge with the team.
  • Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Experience Required: 8 yrs to 12 yrs with Web development and API experience
  • Experience with design and development of .Net/MVC/API/Web services/ REST (creation & consumption), SOAP in Windows Environment.
  • Proficient in Web Technologies (DHTML, JQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Experience in API layer like security, request and response modifications etc.
  • Proficient in SQL and Stored Procedures in SQL Server
  • Proficient of Jira, Confluence
  • Proficient in Git/Bit Bucket, Jenkins/Jules
  • Knowledge on ETL tools like SSIS/Alteryx and web/API integration
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Engineering. Different field of study, with significant professional experience in Software Development, is acceptable.
