Job Description:
TCS India provides an Excellent Opportunity for RUBY On RAILS (ROR) !!!
Participate in discussions with technical architects towards arriving at solutions
Identify and enable optimization/streamlining in the project operations
Oversee project activities, planning and execution of major initiatives, upgrades, etc.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality and organization.
Role: RUBY On RAILS (ROR)
Desired Experience Range: 6-8 years
Requirements:
Ability to effectively manage work within the team as well as across project and organizational boundaries to accomplish common objectives
Experience with handling multiple customers and working closely with them to understand requirements
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate
Ability to identify areas for optimization via automation, process streamlining, etc.
Hands-on with HTML, CSS, AngularJs, Postgresql and basics of database management.
Server administration (Linux Ubuntu or RHEL) and tools, different web (Apache, Nginx) and application servers (Thin, Passenger)
Scripting languages (JavaScript, node.js, coffee script, angular JS, SLIM)
Experience in web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML); source control systems such as Git or Subversion
Knowledge of the open-source ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Experience in writing unit test cases
