  • Job Description:

    We seek a seasoned JavaScript Web Programmer to build front-end applications for the Virtual Labs platform. Successful candidates will have experience with all of the skills listed below. Our project entails implementing our pre-approved UI, implementing the APIs, connecting the two, and building a high-performance front-end for the desktop & mobile browsers.

    Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript core – most of the work happens on it
  • Excellent command over OOPs & Data Structures.
  • Ability to develop intuitive web apps.
  • Working knowledge of jQuery, web APIs, and other front-end technologies.
  • Understanding and detailed knowledge of JSON data.
  • Experience using HTML5, and CSS3 tools and frameworks such as Bootstrap and Semantic UI.
  • Expert in CSS (and CSS preprocessors, such as LESS and SASS) to create web applications and app layouts that match designer visions at a range of screen resolutions
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • Appreciation for clean and well-documented code.
  • Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency in working with Linux environments.
  • JS-based Web animations
  • Familiarity with Docker and microservices architecture.
  • knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, and Postgres.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of the overall web front-end application
  • “Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface
  • Ensuring the web application is designed and built for speed and scalability
  • Design and construction of web components and front-end logic
  • Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed API
  • Create high-quality web applications using JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS3.
