Personality Development:
It is the development of the organized pattern of behaviours and attitudes that makes a person distinctive. It occurs through the ongoing interaction of temperament, character, and environment.

Characteristics of Personality:
1. Consistency: It is generally a recognizable order and regularity to behaviours. Essentially, people act in the same ways or similar ways in a variety of situations.
2. Psychological and Physiological: It is a psychological construct, but research suggests that it is also influenced by biological processes and needs.
3. Impact behaviours and actions: It doesn’t just influence how we move and respond in our environment, it also causes us to act in certain ways.
4. Multiple Expressions: It is displayed in more than just behaviour. It can also be seen in our thoughts, feelings, close relationships and other social interactions.
